Credit Cards

Credit card companies are always coming out with attractive new offers that are designed to attract and rope new and existing customers. Every credit card comes with offers that are designed to make you think you are going to benefit, but in a lot of cases the services you've bought are hardly if ever used and would cost more than to purchase them individually. For example: you could sign up to a premium service that offers travel insurance for $20 a month and maybe only need it once a year; whereas you could purchase the same insurance when you need it for $35 a year. The above example may or may not be pertinent, but it illustrates a point.

It is advisable to take what credit card companies say with a pinch of salt as not everything they say is going to be entirely accurate. It would be advisable to do some research and then deicide on the credit card which is right for you and fulfils you needs instead of their pockets. Credit card companies come out with offers which seem like a good deal, but in actuality the offer may only be available for a short period of time. A good example is annual fees; whereby credit card companies don't charge an annual fee for that particular year, but instead make it applicable next year and the following years. The customer is then under the false impression that they do not have to pay annual fees.
